To say I’ve been in awe of this experience is an understatement. I’ve met so many people. Seen so many things. Been thrown headfirst into what the Lord is doing around the world, and been immersed in what He’s doing inside of me.
It’s been incredible.
Some of you have been here since the beginning. You know where I came from. You know my stories that led up to this Race, the heartache and excitement involved in choosing to go.
Some of you just got here. It’s all new. I’m just another racer, with a few more stories to tell you.
I’ve been in Asia for five months now. I’ve traveled by plane, train, car, bus, taxi, tuk-tuk, songtheow, rickshaw, boat, motorbike, moped, elephant, tandem bicycle… I’ve been in slums, in bars, in orphanages, in big cities, in small villages. I’ve been sick three times and injured once.
It’s been a lot. More than I could express in a blog, or in any amount of words.
So instead, I made you another video. I’ve made a bunch of them over the past 7 months. 11 total. 7 that I’ve shared on my blog.
For me, videos can share more than words can. They can show you faces I’ve grown to know and love. They can show you places I’ve never dreamed of seeing. For a brief minute, they can take you into the life I’m living, in hopes that you’ll understand just a little bit better.
Come into my world. It’s your world too, just the other side. Be a part of this with me. You won’t regret it.
God is providing in awesome ways for me to stay on this race for the next 6 months! I still have $3,294 left to raise before March 1st, and the Lord is calling me into deep trust that He alone will provide everything I need.
