I have a lot on my mind about launching for the World Race. Everyone was so filled with emotions, and there were long days and little sleep and the fact that we were departing for the other side of the world. But since we’ve arrived in India and I’ve thought about it, it just feels like that’s how everything was supposed to happen.
During our 36+ hour travel to India, we experienced unexpected detours (hello Norway!), missed flights, Indian buffets, and a whole lot of God’s provision. God took the opportunity to break us of any expectations we had that things would go as planned, and instead reminded us over and over again that He is in control of this entire trip.
But when I say there were a lot of emotions, I really mean it. It’s quite the adventure, traveling with 44 other people across multiple continents.
