Are you considering donating to my World Race Fund? Let me help you decide! This list answers vital questions of what and who your money will be going to, and why you should give.
Not sure how much to donate? Not sure what you can afford? Let me help- whichever reason resonates with you THE MOST, donate the amount of that number. Or, if you’re like me, there are some you totally relate to and some you’re just not so sure about. How ever many reasons you agree with, donate that! If you only agree with half this list, donate $10! For more math fun (yeah right), add up the individual numbers! (example: I love numbers 2,9,10 and 20…that’s $41!). Pick your reason and your mathematical formula!
1. Be crazy- help me spread the Good News to an entire continent spanning 3 hemispheres!
2. 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. Be the body. It’s no secret that I can’t walk, chew gum and breathe at the same time. And one person can’t do all things for the Lord. I need you. While I’m a foot, be a lung!
3. Mark 16:15. It’s our assignment: Jesus tells us to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
4. We can bless other ministries throughout 3 hemispheres!
5. Help me to help build, work and manually labor for Central and South America.
6. Give me the chance to teach, play with and generally be a blessing to children in orphanages and poverty.
7. Put love in action in loveless places- where we’ll lay hands on and pray for people who are in addiction, in prostitution, in bondage, in hopelessness.
8. Recognize that your decision can send one more disciple to the nations, or one less.
9. Get me halfway of my total cost by the second deadline! ($7,150 by Dec. 16)
10. 1 Corinthians 3:6-8. You can plant a seed, I can water it, and Jesus can make it grow.
11. Grow in faith. God will provide for you after your donation- Sit back and watch it happen!
12. Be a blessing. Send me on this terrifying and exciting dream journey!
13. Receive a blessing. Luke 6:38. Have it given back to you pressed down, shaken together, running over and poured into your lap.
14. We can grow as a community, as a church. Together we can be a literal church among nations.
15. Provide your e-mail when you donate and receive Lupdates (Leah’s updates) throughout 2015. Stories, pictures and whatever else happens!
16. Follow His Word and follow His Words. Give as God leads you- no more, no less.
17. Bring it to the Lord for His purposes. Exodus 35:21. “And they came forward—every one whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whose spirit was willing; they brought the offering for the Lord for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.”
18. Know that you have something to offer. $5, $10, camping necessities, backpacking equipment. God can and will use all that you offer to Him.
19. Be the answer to prayers all over Central and South America. People are searching for the Lord. People are praying for blessing in terrible places and situations. We can help to answer those prayers and end those searches.
20. If you had the chance to change fate, would you?
