Well in just a few minutes I will most likely not have internet until the beginning of December. Our whole squad is getting together to say goodbye to our squad leaders and we’re having a few days of fellowship and fun before we all leave for MALAWI!!
We will be going to Africa for the next three months, starting off in Malawi and I have no idea where after that. I am expecting HUGE things to happen in Africa, God is calling us there for a reason and we are looking forward to the miracles and changed lives that will take place. I can’t really even explain how much life is going to change in the next few days. Starting with a 3-4 day travel day.
I will be flying to Athens Greece, where we have an 8 hour layover and might get to explore the city a little bit (SO excited for this, as Greece is somewhere I’ve always wanted to go…thank you Jesus for working that one out 🙂 He’s got my back! haha And then on to Qatar for a few hours, and after a few long days making our final stop in Johannesburg on the 31’st.
We then will be going by bus or some mode of transportation for 27 hours through Zimbabwe and Mozambique to get to Malawi. This is supposed to take 27 hours but could take up to 50! WOO travel days…ALWAYS an adventure, but God always works it out.
Please specifically pray this month for the following:
- Safety- travel, living situations (tents), ministry, etc..
- Health (malaria has been pretty prevalent with the past few squads but we are majorly praying protection over that, and taking our malaria pills 🙂
- That I would be really open to what God is doing this month…my heart is very open and soft and I’m looking forward to being away from so many distractions, so that it stays that way. We will have no electronics, movies, internet, showers, and basically things I’m used to living with and having. This means: No distractions, which = tons of time with the Lord and I can’t wait!!
- And just the supernatural energy and compassion to pour out LOVE, LOVE, and more LOVE….Not coming from me but purely from CHRIST.
AFRICA = OPERATION LOVE and see what He does to change hearts and lives through it.
I just watched the documentary called Finger of God on Youtube..highly recommend it! God’s finger is so evident in our lives, we just have to see it and believe that He wants to do mighty and awesome things.
