I'm so stinkin excited to introduce TEAM MONARCH to you!
These 6 beautiful faces are the people I'll be serving with next year. As I wave goobye to one family at the airport in January, these are the lucky ones who will instantly become my new family.
We'll be doing every minute of life together for quite a while! I hope they're ready for this!

MICHELLE
True story: After a few days at training I had a short conversation with God that went something like this-
"God, in case you're wondering, out of everyone here,
I would really love being on the same team as Michelle…"
Welp here we are. That was easy enough…thanks God! I barely knew Michelle at that point, all I knew was that the girl had crazy amounts of joy flowing out of her and a love for life that I just didn't have but I wanted to be part of it! She is always smiling and laughing and it truly is SO contagious to the people around her. She's a constant reminder for me not to take life so seriously all the time! She'll definitely be in charge of organizing the dance parties in each country! I really do feel blessed that God put us on the same team. Michelle has the purest heart and I can't wait to watch the Lord use her as a light in these dark places we're headed to.
MEAGAN
Oh my gosh I LOVE this girl. I know I'm from Texas but Meagan has wayy more of an accent than I do! It's hilarious and I will probably give her a hard time about it all year. She is just overall an incredible person. She's passionate, genuine, and encouraging. There's no doubt in my mind that the Lord is going to blow up her life this year in the best way possible and I'm SO glad I get to be around to witness it!
CANDICE
I am so glad that there's another girl on the team who loves sports! In case you can't tell..she is passionate about her Florida Gators 🙂 Candice brings so much strength and inspiration to our team! The Lord has brought incredible freedom to her heart and there's absolutely no limit to what she's going to do for Him because of that this next year! This girl is selfless, funny, and she always tells it like it is!
I couldn't have asked for 3 more amazing sisters to serve with next year!
…annnd then there's the guys…
JUSTIN
Our faithful team leader! Team Monarch couldn't be more blessed to have Justin humbly lead our team into the nations. This guy has such a fresh and raw love for the Lord that I know is only going to keep growing into something beautiful! He is an incredible listener, he's patient, and he's confident in who God says he is. It's so clear and evident that God has been molding him into this role for a long time. Justin is a great example of a real man of God and for that…I'm so thankful and I'm pumped to walk beside him this year!
SAM
Sam! Sam is Team Monarch's secret weapon. I didn't really get to experience much of Sam during training until the last few days when we got put into our teams. It was then I learned that Sam is packed FULL of amazing qualities! The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Sam is wisdom. Whenever he speaks, people listen. He doesn't talk just to hear his own voice and I absolutely love learning from what he has to say. He's so funny and random and it adds so much to our team! God is going to use Sam to reach people this year that no one else can.
JESSE
Ohhh Jesse. So many words I could choose from to describe how unique and special this man of God is. He has a HUGE servant heart. If something needs to be done, without a doubt Jesse will be the first one to help you! I'm looking forward to taking advantage of this when my pack is getting heavy in the airport 🙂 Jesse has a story full of redemption and forgiveness and it will bring anyone who hears it to tears. Guaranteed. Good tears though, the ones that make you think "dang, God is so so faithful!" Jesse is a man of strength, honor, and passion. I can't wait to watch God use Jesse's story to bring healing throughout the nations…it's gonna be so good!
It's funny…going into training I was one of the few girls that would've been absolutely content being placed on an all girls team. Sure, it would've been hard, but a kind of hard that I wanted and I could probably handle. But here I am instead, on the team that has the most guys! REAL funny Lord. I only say that because I know now that without a doubt these people are exactly the 6 people God had planned for me from the beginning. That's another story for another day (or you can just read about it on my teammates blogs!) but Team Monarch wouldn't be the same if any person was missing from this group. These 3 guys are the best brothers a girl could ask for and I trust that having them around is going to be so good for my heart! And the 3 girls…I already love them. God is just so good. I love my team.
