We’ve been here in Tranistria for two weeks, as of tomorrow, and I have enjoyed it. We are working with a team that I haven’t had much time with thus far on the race so I’ve enjoyed being with them! I’ve had the privilege of working with everyone on my squad throughout the last 11 months which I believe is a rare thing. We are staying in Transnistria which isn’t recognized as a country except by Russia and North Korea, they have their own border and their own currency. Before we came we were all a little sceptical, probably due to all the mystery, hype and unknown. But I can honestly say I really it here. The people are so friendly! I love the church we are working with and their vision. Truthfully, it reminds me alot of my church at home (minus the speaking in Russian part and me not understanding anything in service) but that is so nice because I miss my church so much!
We have exactly 20 days until we fly into NYC and that is crazy. How did 11 months turn into 20 days?!?!? This has truly been a blessing and an amazing journey! I have met some amazing people and God has done a radical transformation in my life and I will never be the same. I truly believe I left on this journey as a girl and am coming back as a women. Strong, beautiful, bold, confident in who He has made me to be! I have had a blast and I am PUMPED to see what’s next. One season ends and another begins…bring it on!
