We made it to Phuket early this morning after a 13 hour bus ride from Bangkok. Thailand is beautiful, especially here in Phuket. But with all the beauty comes it’s share of darkness. We went and did a prayer walk up and down the streets where the bars are that we Re going to be ministering in at night and it was heavy. We saw so many people blinded by this darkness. We are going back tonight to meet and minister to the girls who work in the bars. Something that struck me when we had our cultural debriefing and convicted me about was that these women are not prostitutes. Prostitute is an occupation not their identity. So we will be ministering t many of the young women in prostituting. We are also pryIng for the men, because  freedoms just as needed for these men and can start with them…resulting in freedom for the women!
I had a vision today of me walking through the streets and bars and breaking chains, like a rope at the end of a marathon. I walked through the chain and broke it but when I looked up there were rows and rows of them. Pray for boldness to walk with my head up rooted in my identity, not to be questioned by the enemy, and to charge through on behalf of these women and men! Pray for divine encounters, for the Holy Spirit to speak through me, for safety, and for spiritual discernment.
Blessings from Phuket!
