We have been in Musho, Peru for just over a week.  God has been opening doors for us and bringing more and more people into His Kingdom every single day.  I feel so blessed to be here in the mountains.  Every morning when I step out the door of our room a spectacular view of Huascaran, a 22,205ft snow covered mountain,  takes my breath away.  Randomly throughout the day you will find members of our group just frozen in one spot with their heads tilted upward, staring at the magnificient mountain.

We have been walking to the neighboring town of Tumpa every day to meet people, share in their lives and to share Christ with them.  Pastor Josue is the local pastor in Musho who had the vision of reaching Tumpa for Christ.  There is only one Catholic church in Tumpa and most people there see faith as a religion, instead of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  God has definitely opened the hearts of the people.  They are hungry for more of this Christ we talk about and many are asking us to come share more with them and for Bibles so they can learn more on their own.

Please be in prayer for more Bibles!  So many people do not have Bibles, even just one for an entire family is rare.  The closest place to buy them is over an hour away – which for some of the villagers is a lifetime away.

Some of the other Squad B members have written more about our experiences this past week.  They also have some great pictures of this beautiful place and beautiful mountain people.  Below are some of the links to their pages.
