We are very close to being done here in Jeffery’s bay, that’s hard to imagine because I either feel like I’ve been here 100 years or 2 seconds. The town of Jefferys bay reminds me of fergus falls. It is a tight knit community and comes together when one needs a helping hand. They have definitely made this month easier. So I just want to say thank you to this wonderful community.

We went to a church the other day called fathers house, they wanted to have us come so that they could spend some time pouring into us. I found this to be rewarding. In total we were there for 2 days. The first day we walked in and everyone was giving us hugs and endless amounts of coffees and cappuccino‘s we could ever dream about. One thing that stood out to me was a sermon that a pastor gave us. His name is pastor Dave. He preached on “how to be a winner”. I was taken back by the title, but then I begin to realize it was a needed conversation to be had. This question stood out to me, “every situation we face is a confrontation of who is going to win, the situation or me?” What a pondering question we face everyday. It makes you question your attitude towards all situation much more. I begin to realize I need to work on letting things affect me and what I need to wrestle with for a while and let others go for the work of Jesus!

As we wrap all this up I am beginning to realize how easily you can become attached to people in such short amount of time. Please be praying for my  squad as we transition into Zimbabwe, and all the changes we will be facing!

Thank you so much for all your endless support!

With love,

Layne
