Hello everyone! My name is Layne. I am currently 20 and will be 21 in April! I have 2 jobs right now, I work at Red Lobster and I nanny! These both keep me on my toes. I currently live in Minneapolis MN, but am from a town called Fergus Falls. I loved growing up in Fergus. I have my two wonderful parents, two older sisters and one younger brother. I grew up in a Bethel Lutheran church. My parents are both very supportive and my siblings and I are very close. I currently go to an assembly’s of God church. Its called Emmanuel, I have found such a good small group to be apart of.
When I have free time, I love to hangout with friends, discover new coffee shops, workout, and discover new music.
When I was 17 I went on a mission trip to Mexico, God showed me his love in everything we did. I fell in love with the fact of missions because you can have nothing, but you can have everything surrounding you all at the same time. My sister Brooklyn, her junior year of college did YWAM and she loved it. She has always been one of my biggest support systems in doing the world race. I stumbled upon the world race through her and through some of my friends who at the time were currently doing the world race. So I thought might as well apply right? God had other plans that year to help me develop more spiritually with him and mature in his word, now a year later here I am going on the World race.
My biggest concern right now is needing prayer through this whole entire trip. I also need fundraising, mentally preparing myself and leaving everything I know to this day to go on this trip to show the love of Jesus to places people have NO idea about.
