This has been the hardest blog for me to write so far. I never thought that after 3 months on the race I would be going home. I feel blessed beyond measure to have been a part what God is doing in the lives of the people in India and Nepal. I have seen tumors disappear, sickness healed, the blind man’s sight restored, people saved, demons cast out, women rescued from sex trafficking, and faith renewed. I have laughed, cried, cooked, cleaned, drank tea, listened, prayed, and fallen in love with these people. It makes my heart hurt to know this will be ending in one month.  This will all be ending unless you step up and answer the calling that God has placed on your own life. I am not going to lie; it has been hard for me to look at my account and see that it has increased less than $1000 since I have been on the race. Yet I have had over 3000 hits on my blogs. That means that if every person that had read my blogs gave $1, I would have already surpassed my next deadline. Now I understand a dollar is A LOT of money (sarcasm noted). I know that so many of you probably feel like $1 is to little to give, but I also know that 1 USD is equivalent to 55.67 Indian Rupees, 87.45 Himalayan Rupees, and 31.43 Baht in Thailand. These amounts are all enough to feed me for a day, treat 7 of the ladies at Asha Nepal to tea, or buy 4 chocolate bars for the kids. I know that living in the US has warped my perspective when it comes to money. I mean we do live in a country that spends $5 on coffee at Starbucks or $15 on a single meal. After all God tells us that our first priority in life is to be comfortable and have all the things of this world that we want. Right? Wrong! God calls us to love first. He calls us to love him with everything we have and then love our neighbors as our self.  And believe it or not that is what I am doing. God has called me to travel to these 11 countries to love, and I know that he has called some of you to love through funding me in this.
Let me be clear. I am not asking you to give your life savings, $100, or even $5. All I am asking is that you seek the Lord walk in obedience to whatever it is that he is calling you to do.
There is just one more thing I want y’all to know. I love home, and I miss it. I miss my comfy bed, my clean western style toilet, warm showers, air conditioning and power in general. I miss iced tea and yummy food, and I miss my family and friends. However, not one of these things compares to the amazing rewards that I have received just by walking in obedience to the Lord. None of these comforts compare to the laughter on the children’s faces during our late night dance parties or the joy emanating from the women when you tell them you love them as you cut up vegetables together.
I love each and every one of you so much, and I thank you for the financial support and prayers that I have already received.

Love you…mean it…
