The World Race is not always perfect. It is not always this time where you are just so on fire, although I am right now. It is not always a clear season. Thankfully, this month in Malaysia has been restful. There have been no car accidents or earthquakes. I am doing particularly well this month. However, it is past the halfway point and for a moment is was overwhelming and my desires started to consume my mind. While at the house of prayer, the Lord spoke to me, he wrote me this letter to put my heart back in the right place and to keep me grounded. It was such a good reminder of how He sees me and how He really does have it all under control. The Lord wrote me a little letter and I would like to share it.
Dear princess,
My dearest princess, how beautiful you are. How beautiful those green eyes that I placed strategically on your face. How beautiful your figure. I created you to be different from all of the others. You are my creation, every detail was hand picked. You can see the world around you through those eyes. You see how intricate it is and how you love it, you are always in awe of creation! Much like you awe the earth, I awe over you. I am well pleased! You have chosen to follow me and you have chosen the perfect path. Even though you stumble, you always turn back to what is best, me. I am proud. You are hungry, hungry for more of life, this world and me. This I know. Please don’t turn away. I know what you desire. I have it noted but I also know what I have desired for you. Please be patient. Please keep your eyes on me. I know it is hard. I know your way may seem enticing but you can have both. I will give you your desires with a twist of mine. Remain in me. Fear not of the future. You have it tattooed on you, Laugh at the days to come, Lauryn. Be joyful of those days and excited about my plans for you. You once had that excitement. Find it again. There is so much more! I don’t want you to wish anything other than what I have for you. Make your biggest desires my desires for your life. Hand them over, really hand them over. My desires are your desires, dear. Focus on where you are right now, in my presence. Remain there and you will find your desires as I desire them for you. Let me love you in this season and keep pursuing me.

I encourage whoever is reading this to think about this. Go deeper with God, let Him speak to you. He really does know all of our wants and needs and desires and he desires all of those things too. He always knows when we need encouragement and when we need to check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. I hope this encourages you and that the Lord has spoken to you through this. He is good, He is faithful, and He loves us SO much!
