Hi friends!

This past month was so great and full of great relationships. Here are a few pictures from some of my favorite moments.

We adventured with our friend Natalia. Natalia is a Greek girl who moved from England to Cyprus to live with her grandparents and share Jesus’ love to her people. We got to spend the month with her, encouraging her in who God has created her to be and the mission he has called her to.

Three days a week I got to coach soccer with Victory Football club where we taught soccer skills and reigned in wild kiddos. Each session started off with a lesson and a couple of times I shared about faithfulness and grace.

Meet our beloved Victory Football coaches! It was so fun to assist them and take on some of their responsibility for the month. Each day I coached with Luciano (bottom picture), a professional Brazilian player. Some of my favorite parts of the month were learning from the coaches and encouraging them in the work God is doing through them.

I played soccer Tuesdays nights with with a Victory Football night league. Technically it was a men’s league, but somehow they let me play. On our last pick-up game I got the opportunity to share with the guys. After an unexpectedly rough game with uncontrolled tempers, I shared about the importance of loving people above everything else, including the sport that we all love. Then I prayed over the group.

This is our big Thanksgiving dinner with three families that became our family. We love them so much and they have blessed us beyond measure!

Prayer:

– Tomorrow I leave for a month in Lebanon with my new team. I want to be as effective as possible there and to be a big blessing to our ministry host.

– The last few days I’ve been in debrief and it has been restful and encouraging.

– My squad will be spending Christmas away from home (for many of us this is the first time not being with our families).
