T-Minus 22 days until Gainesville, GA (TRAINING CAMP)

Going on the World Race, I didn’t know what to expect. I was leaving the comforts of my job, house, air-conditioning, hot showers, friends and family for a year full of “unknowns.” I was putting normalcy aside and saying YES to God’s plan for my life.

When I met Lauren (plot twist: it’s a blog take-over. I’m one of Lauren’s World Race squad mates) I could tell through her texts/ social media that she was fun-loving, energetic, outgoing, optimistic, but beyond that. Lauren was intentional, encouraging, persistent, and loving. Anyone (even a stranger) could see her love for people. A strong love. The type of love that is larger than self. A type of love that only comes from her love for God.

Lauren is a strong reflection of God’s light and the love that He has for His children.

I’m thinking.. WOW!! This is one of the people who I get to travel around the world with sharing the Good News of Jesus???

You’ve probably already seen her World Race posts. She’s getting closer every day to her $18,200 goal, and it would not have been possible without your help– Without you seeing that YOU ARE A BIG PART OF THIS MINISTRY TOO.

We are not only traveling to Southeast Asia, Africa and Central/South America for what you normally see in pictures: bringing food and water to villages, working with sex trafficking victims, playing soccer with orphans, etc. Yes, we will be doing those things, but this is way bigger! We will be unapologetically sharing the gospel to some of the darkest parts of the world filled with some of the most hopeless people. Whether it’s on the airplane, at a restaurant, or in a remote village, this is our mission: to share the gospel.

Please help my sweet, new friend.

Don’t hesitate. Join this gospel-sharing ministry right now. It’s as simple as picking a box below and donating the number you see:

Over the past year, Lauren has been an encouragement to me. She has been intentional in our friendship and has always reached out to check-in. She is a true friend, and I’m thankful that God led us to the same road—well race—THE WORLD RACE.

Love you, Lauren! See you at training camp.

Song of the week: Love With Your Life by Hollyn

Verses of the week: Romans 10: 13-15 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
