Sawat Dee Ka! (Thai for hello)

Well, we made our way to country #2 … the gang was excited to pack our bags in the Philippines and head on to the next adventure!! Although we left a part of our hearts there! Okay, a HUGE CHUNK!

This month is “All Squad Month”… All 37 of us are together in the same hostel and ready to serve God here in this amazing country.

This month is very different from last month and excited to grow and learn what the Lord has to show me. We are all in same city and location but serving in different ways. My team and two other teams will be partnering with COIC (Christian Outreach International College) a local school to help get it up and running by January and that’s going to be in the way of construction and working on the grounds. I’ll be honest, construction is not my thing, and when I found out this month would hold construction as well, my heart was conflicted. It’s not where I feel I thrive and where my heart is, which is exactly why I believe this is why my month is looking like it is, ha. It’s not about how it makes me feel… I’m going to wake up each day and strive to be the best construction worker I can be and find God in the little details. We are blessed to be able to create and help build a safe place to learn.

So we will be doing that Monday-Wednesday throughout the month and then Thursday and Friday are ATL days (Ask the Lord)…. Where we literally wake up that day and ask the Lord where he wants us to go, who he wants us to talk with, and how he wants us to minister that day. It’s truly depending on the voice of the Lord and trusting that he is going to lead you exactly where you need to be. I’m excited how the Lord is going to work through us individually and as a team as we seek to hear him. And then Saturday is for adventure days and Sunday is our Sabbath.

There is so much work to be done here and we as a squad felt that as soon as we walked off the plane. This is a Buddhist country and so many walls to break through. Our God is so good to put us here for such a time as this; to build relationships and come in partnership with these ministries to bring God into this country that so desperately needs him.

One of the things you can be praying for during our month here; another purpose  for this month is to help build contacts and make connections for hopefully more partnership opportunities for our ministry connection here. It would be amazing to have more hands and feet to come along side them to continue cultivating the seeds we are planting long after we’re gone. And continue praying for team and squad unity. We are so very pumped to be here and watch the Lord move in amazing and exciting ways!

Side note:

My dream came true!!

Love to you all! Your prayers are being felt from across the world!
