I really loved San Jose. Not only is it beautfiul, but the pepole we met and ministry we did was incredible.
For ministry one day we organized Conexion’s medical container. They do a lot of medical clinics around San Jose.
Most days for ministry we set up games for kids at local schools. That meant we became experts at setting up and taking down the trampoline.
one of my favorite games to play was gaga ball, even though the kids always ganged up to beat me and Zoe.
My favorite Ministry was spending time at a womens prison. We did Zumba with them, crafts, played 9 square, and just hung out.
This is a picture of my team with the people we worked with all month that are a part of the organization Conexion. Beth and Jherson, our ministry hosts, are so fun and had so much wisdom to offer to the team.
One of my favorite things I did during my free time was going to a hippy market in downtown San Jose. There were so many different vendors and cool people.
Another highlight was adventuring to a small volcanoe and having a picnic to celebrate Erin’s birthday.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and learned a lot!!
