OH MY!!!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to send a quick update to all of those who are already following along on my blog! Today is the last day of the seventies. That quite literally blows my mind. This past month and a half has flown by.
I want to first preface with: I am overwhelmed by the goodness of our God. I am overwhelmed by the prayer support. I am overwhelmed by the generosity of those who have selflessly come alongside me financially. I trust that He is going to provide the spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial capacity that I will need in this upcoming year.
Here comes the break down of my fundraising update for you all. I don’t know if this will be as cool for you as it is for me, but I love seeing the process of things. I am also just assume everyones brains work like mine :).
Total needed to be fully funded: $19,200
Total we have raised so far: $15,529
(as of five minutes ago!!! my best friend pushed me over the edge of a really cool goal (80%) I just talked to her about)
Total left to raise: $3,671
Total percent raised: 80.88%
Total percent left: 19.12%
YA’LL… this would not be possible without Jesus. It is incredible to me what He wants to do through a broken sinner like me and you. I have been prayerful in continually giving this process to Him because I struggle with wanting to control the process. It is a daily surrender to hand over the process of fundraising to Him.
The Lord is teaching me so much in the last couple of months before I leave, for that I am grateful. I am learning and believing that to trust in The Lord fully is to gain. I find such freedom in that! His love for us is as far as the East is from the West (Psalms 103:8-12). Abounding. Infinite. Never ending.
I still am asking/in need for prayer partners, financial partnership and gear.
