Hey everyone… I’m currently at launch and about to head out on The World Race on Monday whaaaa?! I can’t believe it!
I have the amazing opportunity to be the story leader for my team for the first few months. This basically means along with creating my own stories, I will encourage my teammates to consistently blog and help them share their story with the world. I can’t wait! I just love how God is allowing me to use my journalism skills for this trip 😀
One project I plan to do is interview my teammates and squadmates (my squad is made up of 29 people going on my same route… we are split into 5 teams and spread out in each country doing different ministries) at different times throughout the next 11 months. I would love to interview them in the beginning of the trip, and then follow up with them at the middle and then again at the end.
My first squadmate I interviewed is Hannah Mitchek! She is from Evergreen, CO and just graduated from college with a degree in marketing. Watch below to see why she decided to go on The World Race, and how she hopes to grow throughout these 11 months:
