Who I am? well these things are what I know build into that answer:
– I am Daddy’s little girl
– I am my Mama’s “Blondie”
– I am a little sister to my awesome big sis
– I am auntie Lauren to her dogs
– I am a student
– I am an athlete
– I am a softball player
– I am an adventurist
– I am a summer camp counselor
– I am horrible at writing, grammar, and spelling
– I am a biology major
– I am tall
…..
In reality that is what covers up the real me because when I get down to it this is what I MAKE ME:
– I am prideful
– I am people pleasing
– I am self-centered
– I am judgmental
– I am easily angered
– I am selfish
– I am self-righteous
– I am a lier
– I am envious
– I am jealous
– I am naive
– I am image driven
– I am a adulterer
– I am immature
– I am not good enough
BUT GOD (one of my favorite lines in scripture) makes me:
I am JUSTIFIED
I am FORGIVEN
I am REDEEMED
I am HOLY
I am FREE
I am GOD’S DAUGHTER and as frilly as its sounds HIS PRINCESS
I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY MADE
…all because God loves me that much!!!!
So from this list there are a lot of of things that make me what I seem to be and I am always learning and growing. But just to know God makes me who I REALLY am is soooo amazing. Even in my awful wretchedness Jesus has given His life for me, I AM blameless and perfect before God, so no matter what I do I AM HIS and that is where my identity truly comes from.
God has truly blessed me on this Earth with an awesome supportive loving family and encouraging loving friends. He has placed me in situations to grow and situations the only thing I can do is praise Him. I was born and raised in Jesup, Georgia, a small southern town. I graduate May 10th from Georgia Regents University formerly known as Augusta State University. I have played collegiate ball all four years of my college career. Go Warriors!! Go Jags!! I have worked/will work as a summer counselor at the Christian camp and retreat center LOOK UP LODGE in Travelors Rest, South Carolina. Now I know the next step in my life. In January I will be leaving for China, South Korea, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda on the World Race. Gone from the life I know, to live the life I am called too for 11 months (and I can’t wait)!
