the beautiful K Squad at final debrief in Hua Hin, Thailand That’s such a strange phrase to say. The past year of my life has centered around being a part of this community, this movement, this revolution. To say it’s over is hard to wrap my mind around most days. Then again it’s not entirely true… Yes, I have finished the August 2009 World Race! Praise the Lord! But my partnership with AIM and The World Race is far from over. I am so humbled and privileged to announce that I am going back out with the newest group of Racers in October 2010! Some of you might be thinking, “Wait, you’re going through this craziness again?!â€� Well yes, but not in the same way. Through much prayer and wise council, the Lord has led me to accept a position as a Squad Leader for the S Squad this fall! What’s a Squad Leader? Well, simply put the Squad Leader oversees the squad. Basic enough right? Well there is a bit more to it than that. Essentially, myself, along with 2 other (amazing) Race alumni go out with a new squad for their first 4 months on the field. We will be teaching from our own experiences what living by the Spirit and serving the nations wholeheartedly means. As a Squad Leader, I also keep in close contact with the AIM office and staff as well as meet with ministry contacts in the various countries. I also have the opportunity to love on this new group of Racers and be there to support them and encourage them in any way possible. I am extremely excited to embark on this new journey. I have already had the great privilege of meeting the S Squad and am blown away by their hunger for the Holy Spirit and passion to bring light into the dark areas of the world and set the captives free! the amazing S Squad, headed out in October! I would love if you’d continue or start this new journey with me. In order to Squad Lead, I am in need of around $8,000 to cover my costs while out on the field. This money will cover the 4 months I am with the Squad on the field, and also allow me to visit them twice throughout their Race (month 8 and month 11). I have no doubt the Lord will provide everything I need because He has specifically chosen me for this position and this time! I am so excited to see how He does it!
