We were asked to write a blog about how we felt before leaving on this mission trip. Here is what I’m expecting…
Well I guess I don’t really know what to expect! I look at the next year and it’s just a blur. But I don’t think that’s a bad thing. At first I was worried that I can’t picture much of what we’re all going to experience, but then I got excited about it. I don’t think I can see it because what’s going to happen over the next year is more amazing than anything I can envision. The next year is all about GOD and He’s greater than anything I can dream in my head, so it only makes sense that I can’t see very much. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but what I do know is that whatever worries or fears I have, the Lord WILL calm them and any hopes or expectations I dream up, the Lord WILL surpass them a hundred times over.
My friend Matt is super talented. He has a passion for making movies and an ever bigger passion for Christ. In hopes of getting the word out about my trip, he agreed to make a video. After much brainstorming, he decided he wanted me to answer the question “where do you see yourself in a year?”. This is the result. I hope this might give you a little idea of what I feel when I look toward August.
