The -About- page, yikes! I’m absolutely not the best at writing a knock your socks off kind of blog. So…let’s start small.

Small

I’m Lauren Renee Weidley.
Born in Daytona, FL – lived there for about a second so I consider my hometown Tampa, FL.

 { Dad, Mom, Sister }
My mom and dad are so supportive and loving it’s inspiring.
1 older sister = awesome. so proud of how her relationship with Christ has grown

My friends are my family.
They encourage me to be stronger in the Lord everyday.

A little over one year ago I graduated from the University of Central Florida.

The college years brought me to a wonderful Christian sorority. Sigma Phi Lambda.
These women are some of the most God fearing, strong, and courageous women I know.

Avid Starbucks (or at-home french press) coffee drinker. yumm.
Cardigan sweaters are my favorite outfit accessory.
I’m not so awesome at staying on top of social media.

I like to run every now and then – in my spare time.
I really like the idea of airports and traveling somewhere new.

I try to avoid getting too vulnerable. yikes.
Something the Lord and I are working on.

Since I can’t call myself a student anymore – what do I do?
I plan weddings.
It was my dream job. but. God had a different plan for me (isn’t that usually the way it works out for us controlling type?)
and by His divine hand He has plucked me out of the 9-5+weddings.
so begins the World Race. ⇔ next blog? I think so…

“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish his work. Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus, the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”
John 4:27-38

Break my heart for what break yours, Lord. Send me.
