After some crazy good days in Chicago, almost 300 radical people took off for the nations. My squad’s travel day to the Dominican Republic consisted of half of the group leaving the hotel at 3 in the morning and the other half leaving at 10. I got lucky enough to be in the group leaving at 10. We were so blessed to have such a safe and smooth travel day. Two plane rides and one bus ride later, we safely arrived in San Juan to spend the night. My team then went on to where we are currently located, Arroyo Cano.

This month we are living in a church that meets Sunday morning, Sunday evening, Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, and Saturday evening. One main thing we are doing this month is teaching English to the students who participate in the Compassion International program. We are also buildling relationships with people in the community. I will try to post some pictures soon but internet tends to be a little slow. Please pray for God`s will to be done here and that my team will be a vessel that pours out God`s love to these people!
