Every single day is about making a choice.
Five months have almost passed since my squad embarked on this journey.
I just watched a video made by a former racer called Home. It was the story of her reminiscing her Race, looking back with joy and longing. And I thought about five months. How fast it has gone. How many memories there have been. Already. And yes, it’s only been five months, but it’s already been five months. As I watched the video, this emotion, so strong, welled up wherein I realized that five months have passed. I have six more. Still and only. I choose to see the beauty in everyday. I choose to be enraptured by the people, the cultures, the sights, the nature, the laughs and the tears, the friends, the love, the languages that I don’t understand, the longings. I love the longings.
