I had a three hour orientation this morning and I learned a lot about Malaysia

and what ministry will look like for us this month..
and I am REALLY excited* like REALLY excited**!
we are working along side YWAM PENANG and will be spending
our days at Eden Handicap Center!! Here is there website to
find out more about this organization!

Here are some interesting facts about Malaysia
* The population of Penang (which is the city were in) is 1.8 million people
* Multi-cultural society: Chinese, Indians, and Malays.
* Majority of the country is Muslim, but Buddhism and Hinduism are close behind.
* You can tell anyone about the Gospel here except the
Malays, trying to convert or have a conversation with
them about Jesus can end in your arrest.
here are some phrases in Malay

Good Morning- Selamat Pagi
How are you?- Apa Khabar?
My name is- Nama saya
Thank you- Terima Kasih
Your Welcome- Sama sama
we have had the last two days to explore the city..
you know find the grocery store, figure out transposition.. stuff like
that and in just walking around the city I can say
its the first place I catch myself asking over and over again
‘wait.. what country are we in again?’
there is a little india, a little china, a little nepal..
cambodia.. vietnam.. there is a little version of EVERY COUNTRY
here so it seems! i like it, i like it a lot! : )
one reason i love asia so much is the food
but another reason i love asia is the prices..
you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner all for like 4 bucks!
I find it really special that we get to spend our last month
in a place that reminds me so much of all the places we
have been this year..  on another note want to hear a
really cool WR story? we have a sister squad known as
U-SQUAD that launched out of the states the same time
as we did and have been going to the same countries just
completely backwards from us, so they came to malaysia
back in the beginning of their race and we of course are
finishing here but while they were here one of their ministries
was building rooms for YWAM, and guess who is living in those
rooms now??? WE ARE : ) kinda cool huh?!
anyways i am loving being back in asia! yippeeeee !!!!
cheers* to month 11 and being home in a month!!
