One word: Fundraising.

Fourteen thousand, two-hundred, eighty-five. That's the number that looms over my head. I'm not the first to say it, but let me just tell you, fundraising can be such a downer! That's a lot of money to raise and that doesn't even include money needed for gear, flights to and from training camp or launch, or even immunizations. How am I ever going to raise that much!?

The fact of the matter is, I'm not. It's not possible. I can't do. I don't have that kind of money and I don't have any rich uncles. If it's up to me, then I might as well crawl away, licking my wounds, while I still can. But, guess what? It's not up to me. Amen! I worship a God who can span the universe in the palm of His hand!

Let me be clear, I'm not here to complain. I'm not here to be "Debbie Downer". I'm here to testify to what an amazing God we have! All our needs are met in Him. All our struggles end at the foot of his throne. What is impossible with men, is possible with Him. He's a God without borders and a God without limitations.

To all my fellow Y-Squad brothers and sisters, supporters, blog stalkers, and racers – be encouraged. God, is a mystery. The depths of His love are unfathomable. His knowledge is unknowable. His power is incomparable. When you don't understand why you have to go through certain things, know that God upholds you in His righteous right hand. He's not a God who fails. He's not a God who's apathetic. He's a knowable God who values you and loves you. You are not forgotten. You have not been overlooked. You have not be rejected.

He knows what you need and He has the means to get you through – be it relationships, health problems, or finances. So trust Him absolutely. Lay your lives on the line for Him. God is a safe place to be.
