Now, despite what some of you might be
thinking, the Captain I’m referring to is not actually the one who
captains a ship on the front of a cereal box-NO, the Captain I’m
talking about is my Captain-the Big Guy in the sky, you
know, JC.
WITHOUT GOD, NONE OF
THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED.
As some of you may know, the month of
October is our “ATL” (Ask The Lord) month, where, as a team, we
pray and ask the Lord where He wants us to serve and in what
capacity. As a team we prayed and came back together. Prague, Czech
Republic seemed to really be on our hearts. And here’s the cool
part…God laid “ART” on 6/7 of our hearts for next month’s
ministry. We aren’t exactly sure what that means just yet, but the
Lord led us to a pretty amazing contact, The Mullens, who founded
IHOPP (International House of Prayer, Prague) and Prague Christian
Fellowship (www.christianfellowshipprague.com). They are going into
their 14th year of ministry in Prague (originally they’re
from America) and have many connections here. One connection they
have is a Christian artist, who is actually a contact for another
World Race team…small world, right? We are planning on getting in
touch with them to pick their brains on ways to do an art outreach,
perhaps.
So that’s just a little heads up on
where my team and I are for October. I look forward to sharing
stories with you and filling you in on how God uses ART to reach
people this month! Thank you for your continued prayers for me and my
team. We are praying for focus, drive and unity as we serve the Lord
these last couple of months, your prayers for that would also be
appreciated.
