Now I know that God is always with me. No doubt about it. But lately I’ve just had sweet, sweet time with Him. I think the key is that I’ve taken the time to seek Him. I’ve asked Him to meet me where I am, and He has. I’ve felt like His arms are just wrapped so tightly around me, and it’s such a comfort. He’s never letting go.

Have you ever experienced that? Those special moments with God? Lately I seem to think everything is just a gift from Him to me–I mean not a bad concept, right? Yesterday as I went for a jog, I decided to run and just thank Him for everything. Anything I could think of I thanked Him. Everything from the BEAUTIFUL autumn leaves to the sidewalks I was running on and the people who put them there. And you know what? I ended my run feeling SO GOOD, and not just because I worked out. It was because I had taken the time to THANK Him. I had taken the time to just BE with Him. And it was so rewarding.

Then this morning, at all-staff worship we sang a song by Jesus Culture called Come Away. In my mind, it was another gift from God. Here’s the lyrics:
Come away with Me, Come away with Me
It’s never too late, it’s not too late
It’s not too late for you

I have a plan for you
I have a plan for you
It’s gonna be wild
It’s gonna be great
It’s gonna be full of Me

Open up your heart and let Me in

I loved singing this song. And in a way, I felt like God was singing it to me. I was comforted in the fact He has a plan for me and it’s gonna be wild, it’s gonna be great, and it’s gonna be full of HIM! I am just overwhelmed by His goodness.
