This year, my Valentine’s Day was spent in the Outback of Australia. I felt so filled with love in so many different ways. As a team we spent time out to eat and after wards we took a walk on the beach.

The boys spoiled us with chocolate, candy and cards

Perhaps the greatest way I felt loved this Valentine’s Day though was that I am loved by God. His love is the ultimate. Noe reminded us that God daily romances us to Him. I’ve been thinking about that these past couple of days. OF COURSE HE DOES! His deepest desire is for us to fall madly in love with him. What better way to romance someone than to give them such beautiful gifts, and He has certainly done that during my time in Australia.

He has also given us beautiful star-filled skies at night with a moon that shines so bright. He has given us thunderstorms to cool us during our day. There is such immense beauty in all the things He’s created, especially in His people whom He loves.

that’s about as “gangsta” as she gets folks…
I’m constantly in awe of all these things and so thankful too. This past Valentine’s Day was the best by far–feeling so loved by the One who matters most.
