Ok, yes. I I know. I am LONG overdue for a blog. So I will probably have to break this up into two different ones.

First and foremost, I have a new team 🙂 after leaving Ireland, our entire squad came together in this huge house here in Romania, and it was awesome and packed. We got to have a lot of good time together, sharing in our experiences from the month before and relishing in the community that we are. The day of team changes we came together, prayed, and were given envelopes with our name on it, and a verse of encouragement, and told to take an hour with the Lord to see them alone, and spend that time with the Lord. I was so excited. So I took my bible, journal and sleeping bag out onto one of the upstairs balcony and spent some good time with the Lord, enjoying the intimacy and prepping my heart for what God had in store for me, and I couldn’t have been more blessed. My new team is Rachel Falco (from Crash w00t), Alicia Hodges, Shannon Taylor, Jeremy Harris, Colby Gardner, and our fearless leader Lucas Tillman. It was hard having our team Crash split up, but I was excited for any change because I knew it was ordained by God, and going to be the best thing for me as I entered this new leg of the race. We are team “Last Place,â€ intent on living out the servitude described by Jesus in Mark 10.  I am SO excited by this team, and have already been blessed in abundance by them in these first two weeks as a team.

This month for our ministry we are living and working at Casa Shalom, a camp that used to be an orphanage, in Bucharest. Here, we do a little bit of construction, helping building a new building on the campus. We are also going around with our amazing contact, Becky, building relationships and evangelizing in various gypsy villages around Bucharest and beyond. It is such a blessing, and God is working in this country and in my heart in such amazing ways. 🙂

Yesterday, we got to go on hour or so from Casa Shalom and be a part of a church service in a village. We got there early and got to play with and love on these beautiful children of the church, and Colby got to jam with their music man. Then service was AMAZING. They have so much passion and love for the Lord. AT first there were only about 10 of them plus the 12 of us (we’re partnered with team “Fearlessâ€), but by the end of the first song, we were craaaaammed in our little church room 🙂

After a few songs, it came to be our time to share. We did some introductions, and then Daniel brought in the Holy Spirit something fierce through an amazing prayer, and then we sang a few songs, relishing in God’s love and obvious presence.  I then got to share a word that God had placed on my heart early that day when we found out about the service. It was such a blessing to get to give a short of mini sermon from my heart, stepping boldly into the gifting I do believe God has placed in me and cultivating through this race. I spoke about thankfulness, then immediately after, Leah shared what God had placed on her heart without knowing what I was going to talk about… Psalm 100, which is ALL about thankfulness. God is just so good like that, and it is such a blessing to be used by Him, and in ways which we love 🙂

The entire service was just amazing and it felt so good to be a part of a congregation whose heart was pouring out to God, and being allow to encourage them.

I honestly did not expect to love this country or this month this much, but it has been SUCH a blessed month, and I am so glad that it is not yet over! 🙂

And, segway, on the note of the end of the month… I have yet another support deadline, by the end of the month. I need to be at $10,000 by the 30th, which means I need to raise $1,885 in the next two weeks! I have a profit share night coming up soon at the Chic-fil-a by the USC campus in LA, details to be together and shared asap, so please pray with me that God will provide big through it, and if you are in or know anyone in and around the LA area, spread the word please. And please pray with me for my support to continue to come in other ways as well.
