Hey Hey.
SO here’s another (not so) fun one….
I got a fun phone call this week while riding on the back of
a flat bed truck to our ministry site…. I need to have either $300 or $50
pledged monthly for these remaining 6 months by the end of the month… or I am
sent home.
Along with that, I am pulled from ministry for the month
until that goal is met so that all my time can be spent focusing on this. I
truly struggled at first with this, especially with this being my favorite
ministry and place so far on the race, but God checked my attitude real quick.
He showed me that HE has a purpose in this, He showed me how
HE is sovereign, and how my LIFE is a ministry, and where I am supposed to be
is where HE has called me.
So for me, until this goal is met (which I have full faith
that it will be), I am going to be in constant prayer. Prayer for my funding,
yes, but interceding on behalf of all of those so heavy on my heart and the
hearts around me in ways that the time consumption of our ministry does not
allow for. AND in ALL of this I will be joyful. Joyful because of my love for
the Lord and the ways that His love for me is going to be revealed to me all
the more. Joyful because the testimony to the power of prayer that it is going
to grant me. And joyful for the deeper intimacy I will get to dive into with
the Lord.
I ask that you please join me in prayer this month as well,
prayer that God will provide my funding in His way and timing, that Satan’s
attempts to dishearten me will be to no avail, and that God will move and speak
in my heart and those I am praying for in miraculous ways.
And if you are able to please pray about supporting me,
every little bit helps… for instance:
If one person
donates $300, or commits to $50 for these 6 months, I am covered for this deadline.
If ten people
donate $30, or commit to $5 for these 6 months, I am covered for this deadline.
If a hundred
people donate $3, or any other variation, I am covered for this deadline.
