Alright, so I know I’ve kind of been slacking when it comes to blogging. So let me briefly catch you up on happenings, and then I’ll try to offer my best explaination.

Our month in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua is already over! I can’t believe how quickly it passed. We spent our month doing construction work; preaching in schools and a local church; and ministering in a hospital doing the 3 P’s: playing Uno, painting nails, and praying. Pictures are so much more effective for me at this point than writing about it, so please watch the video below.

I think I’ve been struggling to write blogs for numerous reasons. I’ll offer a few. 1) Our time on the World Race is wrapping up. Our time together is short. Believe it or not, writing blogs take a lot of time for me and I’d honestly rather spend my time with them than writing blogs. Selfish, perhaps, but it’s the truth right now. 2) It’s really hard for me to process anything at this point. We’ve been so many places and seen so much that I don’t even know where to start. Events and feelings are running together, bleeding down the page of my heart. I need a good chunk of time (ideally after the Race) to work through everything. So bottomline: I’m aware that I’m slacking. Please forgive me. I sincerely mean it. Know that I am going to try my hardest to get better, but I can make no guarantees. I will be blogging after I get home as I continue to process.

We’re leaving for debrief tomorrow morning. We’ll be there about 4 days and then I head to Antigua, Guatemala with 5 others (not my team). We don’t have a specific ministry in mind yet, but are currently praying into what our time there will look like. Other groups will be ministering throughout Latin America for our last month and a half of ministry.

Much love!

P.S.- Happy Leap Day!
