We arrived in Thailand on Tuesday for 5 days of debriefing with Squads A & B. Debrief is a time for teams to process their experiences from the previous month and to gear up for the ministry for the month ahead. It is a much-needed time of rest and rejuvenation. As soon as we landed in Bangkok, the June team met the other teams and we hopped on a bus to a port city on the coast of the mainland. We then boarded a speed boat that took us out to Samed Island (or Samet, depending on who’s spelling it).

I have been dazzled by the beauty here! It is absolutely gorgeous. Due to the favorable exchange rate, we are able to live in amazing (by World Race standards, but still very nice) accommodations right on the beach. Brady and I have our own room with a bed and a shower! I will post a video in the next few days showing you were we are staying.
Our days will be filled these next few days with worship in the mornings, enjoying creation and exploring during the days, and night sessions with leaders.
In about a week, we will begin ministry in Thailand. The women from teams Concrete and Zion will be joining forces in Phuket, an island off the southern arm of the country (arguably one of the most beautiful places in the world), and we will spend a month ministering to the girls trapped in the sex-tourism industry.
