Heyo!!! It’s been a great month here in Livingstone, Zambia, Africa working with J-zone ministries. We’ve had the opportunity to do some pretty epic stuff! Wednesday mornings were probably some of the most humbling times as we had Bible study and worship with widows. Man, I love to listen to them sing in their native tongue! It was beautiful! Later, in the afternoon, on Wednesdays we taught AWANA Bible study for kids. These kids were awesome! They were fun, energetic, and were so smart. They were quick learners. We rotated between four stations; Bible study, story time, games and worship. Some days we taught computers to the kids, we did house visits and prayed for the sick or demon possessed, and other days we had the privilege to help J-zone design a park for a plot of land that was given to them. We were super giddy trying to put all the things kids should have growing up like tree forts and tire swings, etc.. We also were blessed to be a part of some preaching and medical missions work out in the bush. We weighed babies and filled out documents. The locals were so nice and hospitable. We couldn’t leave a village without eating their local dish sima which is super filling! So doing that a couple times a day will leave you feeling like your going to explode.. haha.. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Zambia. I got to go on a safari ride, ride an elephant, pet a cheetah and lion! Our hosts were AMAZING! and treated us like family from day one. We stayed in their house with them for the month laughing and enjoying each other’s company. I’m so going to miss Africa.
