What can I say about Malawi except that I didn’t want to leave.. haha.. I loved Malawi! It was a crazy, but great month. A month full of bucket showers, hand washing clothes, cooking meals over a fire out back because there was no electricity, no wifi, days without water, the luxury of pooping in a hole out back, and exhausting school filled days with super energetic kids. We had Bible studies with our African brothers that we were living with, we held a poetry slam and invited everyone to participate, and we loved on the adorable crazy kids around the village. My team flourished and grew individually and in unity. We spent nights laughing over dinner and washing dishes, listening to Josh’s music play list that drove Nat crazy, and we had a love feast where we encouraged and spoke life over one another. We went on some adventures and really enjoyed each other’s company. They are my family and I love them deeply. It was such privilege to work with Life Child Pre-school this month. The kids and staff were amazing. Our host and his family were awesome. I will so miss our host Jarvis rock out to country music. It was so hard to leave, but I am expecting great things to come.
