Ok! So….. I have nothing to write BUT I have a lot to write. Maybe I should just admit I don’t want to write this blog. I have to blog, it’s the law! I was going to write about all the different countries I’ve been to but my journal is a 30 minute walk from where I am now writing this and I only have a three hour window to finish my blog.
I’m writing to you from Israel where my Lord Savior WALKED! The Bible comes more alive here, I’ve learned so much . Many things I believed about the Bible are so westernized…for instance, did you know Jesus wasn’t actually a wood carpenter but a stone mason? I’ve also learned about the Torah, history, and the Jewish culture.
While in Turkey last month, I got to learn so much about Islam sitting with a Muslim teacher. We got to talk to him about the Bible as he shared about the Koran. Some of our talks lasted for HOURS. I can’t believe what I thought I knew about different religions it wasn’t even close.
I am really tired and cant think so ill stop here and promise to write a better blog next week.
