Dear friends and family,
I would like to share with you and amazing opportunity I have been given. I have the chance to serve and live in raw, authentic community with the poor, the sick, the widowed and the orphaned. What is this opportunity you ask? It is called The World Race. The World Race is part of Adventures in Missions, an interdenominational missions organization that has sent over 100,000 people into the mission field since 1989. The World Race is one of their trips specifically for young adults to travel to 11 countries in 11 months. I will be leaving in September 2015 to travel to Moldova, Romania, Kosovo, Albania, Mozambique, Swaziland, Columbia, Ecuador, South Africa, Peru and Bolivia. While in each of these countries, my team will be partnering with local churches and organizations to serve in areas of need.
It has been my absolute dream to take advantage of this time of life to serve God and the underprivileged in some of the most needed parts of the globe. Through The World Race, I can do this first- hand. I will not only be living out of a backpack, sleeping in a tent or on church floors, but I will be doing what I love the most: serving others.
Here’s where you come in! I am writing to ask if you would consider partnering prayerfully and financially with me for this adventure ahead. In order to go on The World Race, I am raising $16,256.70, which includes the costs of every single expense for this trip. As I am working two jobs and saving, the amount of money is overwhelming. With your support, every little bit helps. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donation.
