My team and team Fierce Pursuit are now in Swaziland, staying at a community center an hour outside of Manzini the nearest city. We arrived here after a couple days of travel and resting. We had our month 2 debrief October 28 to November 2 at a backpackers Inn called Old Vics in Nelspruit, South Africa. It was a time to relax, realign ourselves and debrief the past two months of the race. It was a beautiful place we were staying at. I was able to swim a couple times and spend much needed time with the lord.
We left Nelspruit and headed to Swaziland on November 2nd and tented that night at a missionaries home near Manzini and the next day we went to stay at a place called The Homestead which is an Adventures in Missions base. We were there until the 5th, finally able to head to our month 3 location.
This month we have already begun working with a nearby clinic and primary school. We are able to go to the clinic Monday through Friday to lead a prayer meeting each morning at 7 and come back to pray for those in the wards from 10 to 1. At the school we will be leading their devotions on Friday and Monday morningsfrom 7:30 to 8. We will hopefully hear back from the clinic and school on Monday so that we will have more things to be involved with for the month.
After school around 2 the children get out of school and come to the place we are staying to hang out with us. They love to sing and also love eating mangos from this big mango tree on the property.
This is what our month 3 in Swaziland is looking like. We will be leaving around November 28th and going back to Johannesburg, South Africa to catch our plain to Hong Kong for our month four in China.
