“Motion of Mercy”

Hi everyone! I am so excited to say that I am a member of the route 2 squad about to travel all around the world and share the gospel with so many people! I am so blessed and honor to just be able to have the free time to go. I know so many people have said, ”You are so lucky”, “Your lucky to be young, not tied down, and have the moment in your life to go”, and “Wish I could do something like that”. And I am so blessed. I am in the gap period where this just seems like the perfect time…I have not taken a real job or no real bills holding me back! God has chosen me to go! So cool, but what am I going to do with this opportunity? I can go through the motions, send my letters, go to training camp, then hit the field and just go through the motions…I am sure or it will be worth it and I will have fun, but this trip can be so much more! This song above by Francesca Battistelli has been such an inspiration to me recently. I feel like so many times that I have gone through the “motions of life”. I know the right things to say, make people happy, and just get by, but I do not want to have that attitude in my life or for this trip! The motion of mercy is something I want to live. This trip can move me spiritually and help me be stronger to further the kingdom…I need to start now preparing my self mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically that God will use me in whatever way He can. This song was my life, I was at the bottom and feeling like there was more to this life and then change happened. Then this trip happened and I can say that I am ready for the call. So my prayer is the last line of this song…”God give me strength to make something from nothing, I want to be a glimpse of the kingdom that’s coming soon”. I truly cannot do this all my own; it is His strength and work in me that will get me ready for every area of this trip! It also takes the people reading this blog to help me as well making this prayer come true. “To be a glimpse of kingdom coming soon” through missions! Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Ukraine, Romania, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia are all the places that I can begin this journey. I want this motion of mercy, compassion, love, joy, peace, understanding, kindness, meekness to carry through my life starting even now! “Living for the lost, loving until hurts, no matter what the cost” because He did all this for me first! That is my prayer and my passion for my trip! I hope you come along side me in praying, supporting, and following me as I begin this journey of “motion of mercy” in my life!
