Welp… I’m off to Swaziland in one week. Yay!! Oh Africa how I have missed you. I can’t wait to sit for hours waiting for buses, to sweat like I am in a heat box, to have my comfort levels pushed to the max, and to see God move in ways that will grow my faith. And all of you reading are welcome to join me in this trip: by reading this blog and praying along for the month.

This time I am going with an organization called Hosea’s Heart which was started by my very best friend Mary-Kate Martin.  To read her AMAZING God lead story please click the link above.  Here is her Vision Plan from her Blog

Vision Plan

In the midst of poverty, prostitution, the highest HIV/AIDS infection rate in the world, physical abuse, and sexual abuse, many girls in Swaziland are crying out for help. One teenaged girl caught in a degrading cycle of selling her body wrote me a letter saying,

“Mary-Kate, please make me
something.”

It’s a cry not only from her, but from an entire generation, an entire gender unsupported andforgotten.

My mission? To answer this cry for help, hope, worth, and love. To create a home in Swaziland, Africa for “at risk” girls who desperately need someplace and someone to call “home.”

Litsemba Lemphilo, Hope for Life, is a home we are aiming to start in January 2012. We need your help to give these girls the hope they yearn for.

Won’t you join us in letting these young girls know they are
NOT FORGOTTEN.

             This is Mary-Kate 🙂
I am going with a team of 10 other people and we will be working with the girls home in Manzini. We plan to teach them traits that they can use as an income as well as visit some care check points to do some feeding and loving on children 🙂  If you are interested in knwoing more about my teammates for the month or reading their blogs please click HERE
