Warning: Some of you who read this blog will truly think this is foolishness but to me and my team… it was being obedient to God at all times.
It all started Saturday night. Our team was doing “Feedback”.
Feedback: a time every night where our team speaks of how the day was, we speak life into each other by encouraging someone on good things we saw them do, and a time to call each other up by encouraging someone to be more Christ-like in a certain area of their life.
This night was a typical feedback where laughs were shared as well as tears. I wanted to share a couple of songs on the guitar which I got to practice that day. We all ended up worshiping with many songs including “How He Loves.” As the song went on our team sang louder of how our God loves us and how He loves those who we are ministering too.
As I was singing I heard God say “Be free Lauren, You are free, Take your pants off.”
Umm… Excuse me? Did God just tell me to take my pants off?!?! … Yes He did.

I giggled out loud and knew what I had to do. I continued to play guitar as I took my pants off (not an easy task). My team did not notice since they were all spread out around the room with arms high and eye closed.
Kaitlyn, my team leader, began to pray over us and thanked God that we can worship Him even with our pants off. Amanda, Ashley, and Kim quickly realized I was pants-less and laughter broke out.
I prayed how I am not ashamed to serve my God, to say the name Jesus Christ everywhere I go, and I am not ashamed to take my pants off when God asks me too. I will become even more undignified than this! (a reference to David in the Bible who danced naked in the streets for God)
Within seconds we all were in our “unmentionables” and jumping around for God singing “Undignified.”
I love my team. I am blessed with women who have a true heart for God. I will be undignified with them anytime for the LORD!!!
