I sat there feeling full from another meal with rice, soup,
and chicken. Our team began chatting as
we normally do before clearing the table and washing dishes. This night it was
different, as I sat there I began to feel more and more like something was wrong….
I cried out for someone to pray, we were under spiritual attack.
We all began to pray feeling more and more attacked. Tears
were running down our faces, feelings of depression, death, misfortune and,
lies circled us. We were blessed to call them out in the name of Jesus Christ.
Throughout this time we were all held, had our tears wiped
away by two little girls. Karen, as you may have read about her in another
blog, is a reflection of God’s love to me. She held me tight the whole time as
she comforted me with glances of love.
We had nothing to fear in all of this attack. The victory
has already been won by Jesus on the cross.
As we sat there exhausted we realized why we were attacked.
We have been praying bold prayers, bold prayers that God would use us, that the
Holy Spirit would fall down on this place, that we would all be changed for the
better. God is faithful in answering our prayers and the Enemy is upset and
attacking.
I wish I could say that was the last of our attacks but it
hasn’t been. The more we are praying these prayers the more lies we hear, the
more illness hits our team, and the more conflict takes place in our team.
However, we are God’s children! We have victory in our blood. We rebuke lies
for each other, we pray for healing, and speak truth and love into each other.
I am so blessed to be on a team that fights for me and my relationship with
God.
