Because of language barriers I introduced
myself as Doryn and now my name is Dory for short. ( Hey, Jesus changed other
peoples’ names all the time so why shouldn’t people from Ecuador.)

I am excited to show you the timeline of my
day in Conocoto, Ecuador. Each day seems like a new adventure and so precious.
My God is so good to bless me with a chance to experience Him in a new way and
change myself into a person who cares enough to do something for others.

6:30- 7:30

                Time
with God. Prayer for the day. Bible reading. Worship.

7:30- 8:00

                Workout.
Stretch.

8:00- 9:00

                Breakfast.
A time for laughter and talk about what we all are learning from God. One
morning I was overwhelmed with how amazing it was to be in Ecuador, drinking coffee,
and talking about my Mighty God with my amazing sisters in Christ.

9:00-12:00

                CONSTRUCTION!
We are helping build a new church for their community. Every morning we are
going out and mixing cement, laying cement blocks, digging a septic system, and
learning Spanish from the workers Joseph and Salvidor.

12:00- 1:00

                Lunch.
Cuddle time with Karen. She is 6 years old and has stolen my heart. I never
knew a child could be so loving.

1:00-3:00

                Siesta!
Well not really. This is our time to right blogs like I am now or hang with
Karen (as I type with one hand around her haha). We also like to worship during
this time.

3:00- 6:00
Vacation Bible School. As of now we have 5 kids but we were told as the days go on more will come!
6:00- 7:00
                Dinner time!
7:00- 8:00
Time with Pastor Ralphie and family. They pray over us every night 🙂
8:00- 9:00
Team time! Each one of us girls on the time has a night that we get to do what we would like to do with the team. So far we have had movie night and card night.
9:00 – ?
Feedback time. This is where we each talk about our day. We point out what each one of us did that day that was Christ-like and things that each one of us can improve on. It is LOVE time 🙂 It is also a safe place and time for us to share how we are truly feeling about being on the race.
