My name is Lauren Fowlkes. I grew up in the church but it wasn’t until summer of 2013 I truly gave my heart to Christ. That summer I stopped running from God and realized I needed Him more than life itself. Since then I have seen Him supernaturally work in my life in ways that only He can get all the glory.
Around December, God put it on my heart to break out of my comfort zone and do something radical for Him. This radical prompting came in the form of a mission trip called the World Race. One of the unique things about the World Race is that it is not only a mission trip but an intensive discipleship designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking and bring restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations. I am excited to witness and be a part of major breakthroughs, deliverances, healings and so much more!
I know there will be times that I will look at the amount of this trip and will be tempted to give up but I know that God is going to teach me how to trust and have faith on a new level. I will be departing for this mission trip July 2015 in which I will travel to 11 countries in 11 months. By the end of my trip I will need to have fundraised $16,277. I am believing that God will do exceedingly and abundantly more than I expect. I am excited to possibly partner with you!
