About a couple of months ago a co-worker gave me this frog and told me that it would remind me to:
Full
Rely
On
God
Lately, I have really learned and experienced what that means. I see that God has brought me those frustrations, challenges, moments of intense pressure to bring me to my knees. Sometimes it’s hard to see how reliant we are on our own strength. But in those moments of desperation you learn that your strength will not get you through. You learn that His grace is sufficient for you. (2 Corinthians 12:9) You learn how to let go and let God. Fundraising so far for this mission trip has not been easy. I knew that before I started though. I knew I would learn how to trust God on a new level by believing that he will bring the finances that I would need for this mission. What I did not expect was how I was going to learn how to Fully Rely On God, not just in the finances of this trip but in multiple areas of my life. I thank God for me being able to experience this peace that comes from relying on Him. I get to a point where I’m like God I have no idea how to deal with this but I know you do so I lay these cares at your feet. (Psalm 55:22)I know you are a big God and you are able to help me.
