My squad and I arrived in Guatemala late Tuesday, along with a large flood and storm that has washed away the main road between the city and our compound. Since the ministry that was planned for most, was just on the other side of that washed away road, the organization is working on finding alternative serving opportunities for us now. But that does not mean that God has not strategically placed us here at this moment in His perfect timing.
The time to serve is now! There doesn’t have to be an official request to pick up those things that fell off the shelf in the grocery store. You don’t need someone to tell you that it’s ok and necessary to love the orphan at the hospital that you are staying in. You don’t need to pray for God to show you his heart, he has already poured it into you. God is good and has equipped you with the heart to serve, which ultimate means serving His purpose for you life in THIS moment.
Awaiting the next moment is the denial of the only thing that actually is, which is now.
