Yup! It's true. The old tale of "this too shall pass" was not just referring to the tough moments that we each dread in life. This too shall pass in the truly faithful, means believing that the negative moment AND the BLISS FILLED ones: "this too shall pass". "Um, that makes no sense"; you say, as you naturally wish to grasp hold of the bliss as it comes your way, or perhaps is currently present in your life. Yet, when we cling to the moment, we are holding tight to something that is becoming the past, and in doing so, living in the past. What happens when we live in the past? Well, we miss out on the present moment which, I believe is called present because it is just that, a present from God.
For me, this means, I don't always get to capture the sweetest moments on camera, but instead must allow the moment to capture me. It's a tough thing to learn, but a delicious treat to enjoy.
Allow the bliss to flow. It will come and go. Trust that it will come again; that's faith! This will also allow you to feel it fully when it does. Embrace the present WHEN it is present. Letting that great moment pass, means living in it and then living in the next. Now go enjoy your next moment. This too shall pass.
