Surprise!!
We are changing our route. We got informed yesterday that because of the craziness of the olympics, traveling to Europe right now would be insane and insanely expensive. Therefore we are starting inBulgaria….
HONDURAS!!
We leave tonight (Thursday) at midnight and will be taking a bus to JFK airport in New York! We will then be leaving from there on Friday morning and flying into Costa Rica we will bus to Nicaragua, spend the night in a hostel there, and then take a little bus to Honduras in the morning. We are all super excited to be starting in this location and are ready for what the Lord has prepared in advance for us to do! I didn't feel settled about going to Bulgaria first, so when they announced a route change, I was ready to roll! They said we will try to stick with all the same countries on our original route just in a different order, but you never know!! I'm so stoked to be able to try to use the Spanish that I've studied for so long and see if I really know anything.
Our contact in Honduras not only agreed to allow us to stay with him on short notice, but has also taken on our entire squad! There will be 57 G-squad crazies that will be staying together in housing and breaking up for ministry. That's all I know for now…please pray for us as we start out tonight to travel and please pray for our contacts in Honduras!
