Cape Town, South Africa

The month of October we worked….

on a Christian missionary base (Zehandi Missions) by painting, sanding, varnishing, picking up trash, fixing the roof, and sorting clothe donations

at a home for handicapped adults where we worked alongside them, built relationships, spent quality time with them, danced, and were influenced by their joy and love for the Lord

a home for displaced babies where my team and I worked during the day or through the night. These babies were precious and it was such a blessing to give the staff a break and pray over the babies as we held them and fed them throughout the day

In the squatter camps where we played with the children, prayed with families and brought the Gospel.

at Shiloh’s soup kitchen, that fed over 2,000 kids each week, as well as their donation warehouse. At Shiloh we helped prepare food for the day or organize shelves at the warehouse.

During the month of November, South Africa part 2, God provided Manna Church. This church provided an area to camp at while we waited for Our India visas. We ended up staying the whole month working alongside them doing whatever they needed us to do. Which consisted of..

Weeding

Cleaning windows

Deep cleaning

Decorating for Christmas

Cooking ( I’m SO domestic now)

Feeding the kids in the poorer township next door

Playing soccer with the kids next door

Nsoko, Swaziland

We finally made it to Swaziland…

We arrived in Swaziland about a week ago. Swaziland and its people are absolutely beautiful and I’m so excited to get to know the community. We are currently staying at one of the care point facilities. Here women of the community volunteer to cook for about 30 kids every day.

Our job here in Nsoko is to improve the garden that provides families with most of their food and visit different care points around the community to share the message of Jesus. Also, we visit the elderly and sick to pray with them, take them to the hospital/clinic, spend quality time with them and bring them food. I look forward to telling you more about it!
