This month we were very spoiled by our contacts — Forrest
and Darcy. They definitely showed us love and care. We had our own apartment to
live in, hot water, and internet for the first time in four months… God
definitely knew what we needed, a fun outreach that could renew our energy and
spirit for the month. We did several different ministries this month from
helping with English classes at New Tone, to playing at an orphanage, and
worshiping with area churches.

We had conversations with students at New Tone, so they could
practice their English. A great way to interact with Ukraine’s our own age;
experience their lifestyle and how things are for them day to day.

We also had the privilege of going to an orphanage every
Saturday to hang out with the kids and to do a craft and Bible story with them.
The kids where so loving…

We also were able to do some fun stuff this month, we
went bowling for our teammate, Genae’s birthday, we went to a circus with our
contacts, to the Russian border to have a barbeque, out to eat Japanese and to an
overlook of Lugansk with some of our students from New Tone.

Month 10 is coming to a close, it is hard to believe that in
4 weeks, I will step foot in the United States. I sit here in Ukraine wondering
to myself the question “What’s next?”
Now that it is coming to a close I have been thinking of the future, but
this time I am thinking of the future a little differently. The future is all
in God’s hands, I know that He will provide the job, money, and faith to allow
me to continue spreading the word.  Sometimes we have to sit in quietness to hear
God’s voice for the next step. The song “Welcome in this Place” is actually
what I want to feel over me when I step back into the hustle and bustle of the
United States. The lyric to this song goes ….

You’re
welcome in this place,

We
have come to give you glory

We
have come to give you praise

Have
Your Way

Bless
the Lord oh my soul and

Let
all that within me shout out.

I pray that God will have His way with me. I pray that
the change that I have experienced this year, the things I have let go and the
places I have been will forever be in my heart.

Now we are off to our last month of the journey. Eagerly waiting for
the path God has for us next..

Until next time… Take care and God bless…
